Over 500 Youth Union members from Vinh City launched the 2013 summer volunteer campaign.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 16th, the Standing Committee of the Vinh City Youth Union organized the launching ceremony for the 2013 summer volunteer campaign. More than 500 youth union members from across the city participated in the ceremony.

Overview of the mobilization ceremony

The 2013 volunteer campaign, themed "Youth Participating in Building Urban Civilization," implements the motto "Every young person performs one volunteer act, every Youth Union branch performs one volunteer act; every Youth Union branch undertakes one practical project or task to contribute to building urban civilization and rural culture." The Standing Committee of the Vinh City Youth Union calls on Youth Union officials to closely follow the city's summer volunteer plan to provide effective guidance and mobilize a large number of Youth Union members and young people to successfully achieve the campaign's objectives.

Youth Union members directly participated in the construction of the road section in Trung Tien hamlet, Hung Dong commune.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the city's Youth Union members participated in the groundbreaking and completion of a 146-meter-long concrete road section under the New Rural Development program in Trung Tien hamlet, Hung Dong commune. This is a significant project, leaving a deep mark on the city's youth and demonstrating their sense of responsibility towards society.
