(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 16, the Standing Committee of Vinh City Youth Union organized the launching ceremony of the 2013 summer volunteer campaign. More than 500 youth union members in the city participated in the launching ceremony.
Overview of the launching ceremony
The 2013 volunteer campaign with the theme "Youth participate in building urban civilization" implements the motto "Each youth has a volunteer job, each Youth Union organization has a volunteer job; each Youth Union organization has a project, a practical part of work to participate in building urban civilization and rural culture", the Standing Committee of Vinh City Youth Union calls on Youth Union officials to closely follow the city's summer volunteer plan in order to direct well and mobilize a large number of Youth Union members and young people to successfully implement the campaign's targets.
Youth Union members directly construct the road section in Trung Tien hamlet, Hung Dong commune.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the city’s Youth Union participated in the groundbreaking and completion of a 146m concrete road for youth to build new rural areas in Trung Tien hamlet, Hung Dong commune. This is an important project, leaving a deep impression on the city’s youth, demonstrating the youth’s sense of responsibility towards society.
