More than 70 tons of PQ tangerines in Quy Hop district were 'rescued'
Thanks to the cooperation of many individuals and organizations, more than 70 tons of PQ tangerines of farmers in Quy Hop district were successfully "rescued", helping to limit major losses due to the situation of tangerines being difficult to sell and falling all over the garden.

On the afternoon of March 25, in Minh Hop commune, Quy Hop district, traders continued to enter tangerine gardens to buy for people.
A trader from Hanoi shared: "From March 19 until now, we have gone to the place to buy more than 15 tons of tangerines, then brought them to Hanoi for consumption at markets and retail. We expect to collect more than 10 tons to help people."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, a tangerine grower in Hamlet 8, could not hide her joy: "In just over a week, thanks to the support of individuals and organizations in Hanoi and Vinh City, my family has sold more than 10 tons of tangerines. In particular, traders in Vinh City mobilized more than 10 workers to go to the garden to harvest, bag and transport the tangerines to the truck. If there were no timely rescue activities, all these tangerines would have rotted, causing people to lose an important source of income."

According to Mr. Le Viet Minh - Director of Xuan Thanh Agricultural One Member Co., Ltd., the unit has coordinated with many organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to help consume more than 70 tons of PQ tangerines. Currently, there are still about 20 tons of tangerines being harvested, expected to be sold out within the next 4-5 days.

The act of traders purchasing tangerines for farmers is not only a business act but also a noble and humane gesture, helping many agricultural products facing difficulties in consumption. With the support of organizations and individuals, farmers will have more motivation to continue farming and develop the economy.
