Calling candidates into the examination room at the Vinh University examination center.
The Math exam was considered to be of moderate difficulty for students, with two questions designed to differentiate candidates based on spatial geometry and systems of equations; however, candidates in the humanities group were surprised by the Geography exam, which included two questions about islands and seas. Candidate Le Thien Bao, from Nong Cong (Thanh Hoa province), taking the General Medicine exam at Vinh Medical University, said: “The questions were quite close to the curriculum; I think I answered about 70-80%. Students with average grades can easily score 7 points, while only excellent students can complete the entire exam. In the exam room, the invigilators were strict; there were no instances of candidates bringing prohibited materials or items into the exam room, and no instances of cheating or copying…”

Many candidates were absent from the exam.
At the Vinh Medical University examination center, there are 19 examination rooms. In addition to invigilators, security guards, and support staff, there are also three inspectors stationed at the center (from the university, the Department of Education and Training, and the Ministry of Education and Training). Ms. Le Thi Huong Sen, a specialist from the Department of Education and Training and an inspector stationed at the examination center, stated: “After the first examination session, we highly appreciate the serious invigilation and security work at this center. Candidates were prevented from bringing unauthorized materials into the examination rooms. Invigilators conducted the examination seriously and in accordance with regulations. No candidates violated the examination regulations…”
At Vinh University, which has the highest concentration of examination centers and the largest number of candidates, to ensure exam discipline, in addition to police, security guards, and orderlies, a team of volunteers is deployed at the entrance to guard candidates' belongings and seal their phones. The heads of each examination center assign supervisors to closely monitor the invigilation process in each examination room; inspectors from the Ministry actively monitor the examination centers to promptly detect and handle any potential situations.
At the end of this morning's exam session, there were no cases of candidates or invigilators violating the regulations.
