Over 8,000 trade union officials attended the conference to disseminate the Resolution of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term.

On October 25th, the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions held an online conference to disseminate the Resolution of the 19th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Union, term 2023-2028.

At the central location, Comrade Kha Van Tam, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman, was present.Provincial Labor UnionRepresentatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the staff of the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions and its affiliated branches attended the conference. In addition to the 24 main venues, the conference also had 334 commune-level venues throughout the province with a total of over 8,000 union members participating.

Prior to this, to develop the content for the event, the Provincial Labor Union organized many serious working sessions, selecting content in line with the spirit of innovation and creativity in the new situation. The conference is a broad political activity with many important contents that are decisive in the process of implementing the goals set forth in the Resolution of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term.

The conference listened to important presentations directly delivered by the Standing Committee members and heads of specialized departments of the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, aiming to implement key contents to put the Resolution of the 19th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union, term 2023-2028, into practice.

Specifically, on the morning of October 25th, the conference addressed three topics: “Innovating the performance of the function of representing workers, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers”; “Building a strong trade union organization, attracting workers in enterprises to join the trade union”; and “Strengthening inspection and supervision work”.

Later that afternoon, the conference continued to discuss two topics: "Innovating and improving the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization work in the new situation" and "Building financial resources to effectively carry out the tasks of the Trade Union organization".

In a spirit of frankness and democracy, and with prompting from the Organizing Committee, delegates exchanged and clarified many issues related to studying and implementing the Resolution of the 19th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union; caring for the lives of union members and workers; improving the quality of trade union officials; breakthroughs in the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 19th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union; digital transformation, etc.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Kha Van Tam acknowledged and highly appreciated the scale of the conference and the serious and full participation of the delegates. In addition, the thematic content was well-structured, closely aligned with the core content of the Resolution, and presented in an engaging and innovative manner.

The comrade suggested that trade union levels continue to pay attention to and study the content of the Resolution in a thorough and effective manner, and that districts and sectors must develop systematic action programs. At the same time, inspection committees at all levels need to organize close inspection and supervision of its implementation.
