More than 800 people passed the entrance exam for postgraduate and doctoral studies

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 13, Vinh University held the opening ceremony.training courseGraduate and Postgraduate Students, Course XXIII.

This year, 38 PhD students and 128 master’s students were admitted to Vinh University. In addition, nearly 700 other PhD students and students were admitted to the university and studied at affiliated training facilities at Saigon University, Dong Thap University and Long An University of Economics and Industry.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Professor, Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa, the school's principal, affirmed that Vinh University always focuses on and considers postgraduate training as a long-term development strategy. In recent years, along with multidisciplinary training at the university level, the school has expanded international relations, and the school's postgraduate training has made continuous progress.

The training process is increasingly complete, the program is streamlined and selected, facilities, curriculum, and teaching aids are equipped synchronously and modernly.

The school currently has 206 staff members teaching postgraduate courses in 35 master's degree programs and 15 doctoral degree programs. Over 23 years of postgraduate training, Vinh University has nearly 250 people receiving doctoral degrees and more than 9,000 people receiving master's degrees.

The faculty and students of Vinh University are making efforts to promote independence and self-awareness in studying and researching to proactively acquire knowledge, complete tasks, and have many quality research results; gradually contributing to the development of Vinh University, soon becoming a national key university, a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Universities.
