Fight in Internet cafe, young man shot dead
Holding a knife to attack a group of young men younger than him in an Internet cafe, Thanh was shot in the chest and died.
On January 14, Gia Lam District Police, Hanoi, detained five young men involved in the shooting death of Nguyen Dinh Thanh (27 years old, in Hoang Mai District).

Three days ago, Thanh and Le Dinh Nam went to an Internet cafe in Trau Quy town, Gia Lam district to play and had a conflict with Cao Van Quan (19 years old, from Phu Tho province).
Thanh and Nam each took a knife from the restaurant, chased Quan and threw plastic chairs at him. At that time, Quan was assisted by his friend Le Ngoc Son, so they "fought together".
During the fight, Son told his younger brother Dang Vuong Dac (18 years old) to run back to his rented room to get a homemade gun. After receiving the gun, Son shot Thanh in the chest, causing his death.
That same evening, Nguyen Phu Bach (21 years old, Son's friend) heard about the murder and tried to destroy the evidence. Bach knew that the Internet cafe had a camera recording the incident, so he rode his motorbike to snatch and smash the camera.
Immediately after the case, Gia Lam District Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department and Forensic Techniques to examine, investigate the cause, and arrest the suspects.
On the afternoon of January 13, police arrested Son and four others, confiscating the gun used in the crime and a homemade knife.
