The Japanese automaker has just added a VX (O) variant to the City model in the Indian market, positioned above the VX version in both petrol and diesel models.

The highlights of the Honda City VX (O) are the new white color and the touchscreen audio-visual navigation system (AVN), part of the in-car infotainment system.

This system also supports DVD/CD playback, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, iPod, MP3, FM/AM, and a rearview camera display with guidance. Additionally, it integrates hands-free Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to synchronize their smartphones to access their phone's contact list, dial numbers, and answer calls.

Honda states that the City VX (O) also features security alerts and keyless entry from the S version. With the introduction of the VX (O) version, the Honda City now has a total of 14 variants.

The City has been the best-selling mid-size sedan since its introduction in India in January 1998. Across its first three generations, sales exceeded 430,000 units, making it the most successful sedan in the South Asian nation.

The fourth generation was launched in January 2014, and after only 15 months, the Honda City reached sales of 100,000 units. In India, the Honda City is priced from $12,000.
