The 2017 Civic hatchback comes to the US with the following trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, Sport Touring. All five trims share the same 1.5-liter DOHC turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, rated at 174 horsepower (LX, EX and EX-L) and 180 horsepower (Sport and Sport Touring), with a maximum torque of 219 Nm.
A CVT is standard, while a six-speed manual is optional on the LX, Sport, and EX. According to Honda, the 2017 Civic hatchback has a fuel consumption of 7.5 liters / 100 km in the city, 5.8 liters on the highway, and 6.9 liters on mixed roads.
The hatchback interior has 914 mm of legroom for the second row and a large luggage compartment. The Japanese automaker equips the Honda Sensing safety system as an option and standard for the Sport Touring version. Supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Honda Display Audio infotainment system. Heated front seats, electric adjustment, remote engine start.
