The 2018 CR-V model has just been introduced by Honda at the Geneva Motor Show taking place in Switzerland with a hybrid engine option and an additional 3rd row of seats.
It took Honda quite a while to bring the latest CR-V to the European market, and the model has finally been announced by the automaker at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show taking place in Switzerland.

For the first time in Europe, the 2018 Honda CR-V has 7 seats with a 5+2 seating arrangement. This model also has two 7-inch screens, one in the instrument cluster and one in the entertainment system. There is also an electric tailgate with anti-jam feature. The exterior and interior design details of the 2018 CR-V in the European market are not much different from other markets in the world that have launched and sold this model before.

The 2018 CR-V in the European market will no longer have the Diesel engine option, which accounted for 60% of the model's sales in the previous generation. Perhaps the hybrid engine option on the 2018 CR-V will be an alternative for users who travel frequently to save more on fuel costs.
European customers will be able to choose from two engine systems: a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or an optional CVT, and a 2.0-liter hybrid engine combined with two electric motors. Honda did not provide detailed power specifications for the hybrid engine on the CR-V, but only said that the CR-V Hybrid will have 3 driving modes: EV Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive.
After its debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the 2018 CR-V will go on sale in select Honda markets in Europe. Honda will begin taking orders immediately after the Geneva show, with deliveries of the 1.5-liter gasoline version set to begin in the third quarter of this year, while the hybrid version will not be available until early 2019.
