Honda CR-V 7-seat Turbo priced from 736 million VND

The Japanese automaker introduced additional versions of the 2017 CR-V for Southeast Asia, this time also equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged engine similar to the new generation Civic.

After its first appearance in Southeast Asia in the Thai market, the new generation Honda CR-V continues to come to Indonesia. Here, the Honda CR-V 2017 has both 5 and 7-seat versions with prices ranging from 432 - 508 million Rupiah (equivalent to 736 - 866 million VND).

The 7-seat version uses a 1.5-liter, turbocharged, 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum capacity of 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 240 Nm. The 5-seat version comes with a 2.0-liter, naturally aspirated, 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum capacity of 154 horsepower and a maximum torque of 189 Nm. Both engines are paired with a CVT gearbox, with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. And front-wheel drive is standard equipment for the 2017 Honda CR-V in Indonesia.

The 2017 Honda CR-V 5-seat 2.0L version in Indonesia has standard equipment including: Halogen headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, fog lights, LED taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels, audio and conversation control buttons on the steering wheel, 7-inch touch screen, air-conditioning vents for the second row of seats, manual air-conditioning, rear camera and fabric seats. Regarding safety, the car has an electronic parking brake with temporary brake hold function, 2 airbags, cruise control and hill start assist.

The 7-seat 1.5L Turbo version is equipped with more advanced features with some differences such as: 2 rear exhaust pipes, 7-seat wood-paneled interior, 2-zone automatic air conditioning, air filter, ceiling air-conditioning vents with adjustable fan speed, keyless entry and push-button start. Infotainment system with 9-inch touch screen, integrated navigation, multi-angle rear camera, 8-way power driver's seat, adjustable lumbar support with leather-wrapped seats, steering wheel and gear lever.

The most premium version is the 1.5L Turbo Prestige with 7-seat interior. This version has identifying features such as LED headlights, LED fog lights, 18-inch rims but with different spokes, electric and height-adjustable luggage compartment door, panoramic sunroof and 4-way electric passenger seat, 6 airbags.

The 2017 Honda CR-V in Indonesia has some differences from the Thai version: no digital dashboard, uses a different drive system, and does not have the NSX-style gear selector.

In Indonesia, the 2017 Honda CR-V 2.0L version is priced from 432 million Rupiah (736 million VND). The 1.5L Turbo version is 468 million Rupiah (798 million VND), while the 1.5L Turbo Prestige version is priced at 508 million Rupiah (866 million VND). Overall, the 2017 CR-V in Indonesia is cheaper than in Thailand (priced at 917 million - 1.11 billion VND).
