In the Japanese market, the Honda City compact sedan is called by its own name Grace. Recently, Honda has introduced a new version of Grace in the Japanese market called LX.

The special thing about the new Honda Grace LX is that it uses a conventional gasoline engine instead of the hybrid drive system as before. Specifically, the "heart" of the new Honda Grance LX in the Japanese market is a 4-cylinder, DOHC, direct fuel injection gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.5 liters, producing a maximum capacity of 132 horsepower. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission, allowing the new Honda Grace LX to consume only 21.8 km/liter of fuel, equivalent to 4.5 liters/100 km.

Meanwhile, Honda Grace Hybrid in the Japanese market consumes an average of only 34.4 km/liter of fuel, equivalent to 2.9 liters/100 km. The corresponding figure for the new generation Honda City currently being officially distributed in the Vietnamese market is 5.8 liters/100 km. Honda City in the Vietnamese market is equipped with a 4-cylinder inline engine, SOHC, i-VTEC, 1.5 liter capacity with a maximum capacity of 118 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,600 rpm.

For the time being, Honda has not announced much information regarding the equipment of the Grace LX for the Japanese market. It is only known that the new Honda Grace LX will have a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic air conditioning system and smart keyless entry. In addition, there are exterior mirrors that fold automatically when the car is locked and 4 paint colors: Gold Brown Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Tinted Silver Metallic and Premium Crystal Red Metallic. Of which, Premium Crystal Red Metallic is only for the new Honda Grace LX.

In the Japanese market, Honda Grace LX is now on sale with starting prices of 1.75 - 2.09 million Yen, equivalent to 310 - 369 million VND./.
