Honda Jazz 2017 - new rival of Toyota Yaris in Vietnam
Honda's hatchback model with 1.5-liter engine sold in Vietnam in the first quarter of 2018.

Jazz was launched in Vietnam at the VMS 2017 exhibition taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, before that it was an exhibition in 2011 but with the purpose of market research. The 2017 version belongs to the third generation, expected to be sold in Vietnam in early 2018, imported from Thailand.
The car is 4,034 mm long, 1,694 mm wide, and 1,524 mm high. The design is similar to City with a dynamic and sporty shape, with many angular features on the exterior. Compared to some competitors in the B-class hatchback segment such as Toyota Yaris, Ford Fiesta, Mazda2, Honda's model shows a more outstanding personality.
Honda synchronizes LED lighting technology for Jazz even in the standard V version. Rearview mirrors with integrated turn signals, 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. Headlights have additional LED positioning. The two high-end VX and RS versions have additional spherical fog lights.
The interior of the Honda Jazz has a 7-inch touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity and peripheral devices. The VX and RS versions of the Jazz add a rear camera displayed on the screen in the cockpit, automatic air conditioning. The front and rear seats on the Jazz fold multi-function.
Jazz is equipped with a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine, 118 horsepower at 6,600 rpm, maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,600 rpm. CVT gearbox. In Thailand, Honda's model has an additional 5-speed manual transmission option.
Some safety features on the VX and RS versions of the Honda Jazz include a 6-airbag system, three-angle camera, ABS, electronic balance, and hill start assist.
The Japanese automaker has not yet announced the price of Jazz for domestic consumers. In Thailand, Honda's model starts at $17,800. Competitors such as the Toyota Yaris imported to Vietnam start at $592 million, the Ford Fiesta at $584 million, and the Mazda2 at $575 million, all of which are assembled domestically.
