It's an opportunity to demonstrate our strength and determination to build the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, and at the same time, to build a more prosperous Vietnam. In this joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, we are all comrades—I call you comrades because we share the same aspirations.

At the conference, the opinions expressed by the businesspeople were very heartfelt and contained much good news. We share a common will and affection for the province that is the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh. Those of you who are sons and daughters of Nghe An, and others who think of and visit Nghe An, are contributing to building Nghe An and making our country stronger and more prosperous.

…Israel is a country poor in natural conditions, lacking water and land resources. When I met the Israeli President, he boasted that drinking a glass of milk produced in Vietnam using Israeli technology was truly perfect… When I heard Ms. Thai Huong talking about TH True Milk, about going to the western part of Nghe An to build a dairy farm, I didn't believe it… But when I visited, Israeli experts took me to see everything, and I realized that one must have great ambition, passion, love for their homeland, and a love for their profession to choose Nghe An, a "land of opportunity," to surely prosper. Prosperity here doesn't just mean wealth, but also wealth in terms of knowledge, mindset, and brand… From the TH brand being included in the list of 50 famous Asian entrepreneurs with a Nghe An entrepreneur; the The Vissai Cement brand winning a contract to supply all the cement for a highway in France; the Hoa Sen Steel brand not only competing in Vietnam but also expanding into Asia…

Regarding Nghe An, the planning is in place, the airport has been expanded, and the port has been opened – that's something to be happy about. Further expansion of the deep-water port will be studied, along with the international terminal and connections to the region via rail, road, and waterway. I am very pleased to see such affection and dedication from you all towards the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh.

Without love and passion, there is no new thinking, no creativity, and no will to act. This country integrates internationally thanks to businesses. Nghe An has a large land area, a large population, and fertile soil, making it a place where people can prosper. The people are determined and, with proper training, can become talented individuals. What profession to pursue, what to produce, and where to export to are matters for entrepreneurs and businesspeople. The most important criterion is a strong brand, capable of competing and winning in both domestic and international markets; that is the key to sustainable product survival. We must build strong brands for sustainable development.

Based on factors such as planning, human resources, natural conditions, and other elements, I suggest that you carefully consider all aspects. Attracting investment is no longer as simple as it was 10 or 15 years ago. We have integrated internationally, not only economically but also culturally, scientifically, technologically, and educationally. Therefore, efficiency must be the top priority. I wish investors and entrepreneurs success and bold innovations, revolutions in Nghe An province.

Local leaders need to take note: Natural and social conditions have changed, and we must also adapt to keep pace with the new circumstances. In the relationship between entrepreneurs and businesses, you must focus on cooperation, creating the most favorable and efficient conditions possible to bring the best results for entrepreneurs and businesses. Whether domestic or foreign businesses investing in Vietnam, they all contribute to the national economy. Entrepreneurs need to strive to take control of the country's economy. What you need is the environment—not just water and air, but mechanisms, policies, management, and administrative procedures. We must do this relationship really well; if it's not good, we must improve it. Our advantages haven't been fully utilized, so we must find ways to overcome them and make greater efforts to create a favorable environment and maintain good relationships with businesses and entrepreneurs.

On the occasion of the New Year, we wish all businesses and entrepreneurs investing in Nghe An province not only higher results in the coming year than the previous one, but also breakthrough and sustainable achievements. This means that the province and businesses/entrepreneurs need to cooperate, unite, and work together to effectively solve problems and create a sustainable development process.
