Hot Tay girl acts in VTV movie: My boyfriend and I have been in love for nearly a year
Thu Ha Ceri - the role of Ninh 'loe' in the movie "Father's Gift" said that being an ethnic person living in Lang Son has never caused any difficulties but even helped the audience remember her.

I always respect my background and origin.
- Why did Thu Ha have the nickname Ceri? What was the biggest difficulty for a Tay ethnic girl living in Lang Son to become a figure in showbiz?
The stage name Ceri comes from the word "cherry" in French. A friend gave me this name and I really like it. For me, being an ethnic person living in Lang Son has never been difficult. This is also one of the things that helps the audience remember the name Ceri, so I always respect my origin and background.
When I started my career in Hanoi, I was lucky to meet very good brothers and sisters who always helped me in my work. The years I lived and worked in Hanoi were very meaningful.

- Playing a supporting role in the movie "Father's Gift" but the role received more attention than the female lead, were you surprised by this?
I don't think the role is more popular than the main role. It's just that people pay attention and search for me, so more information appears. I was also quite surprised when my short segments were enjoyed by the audience. The fact that the character Ninh 'loe' was interested in the audience helped me focus and do better in the next segments of the film.
- Ninh "loe" was inspired by Ha's mother. Did she help "train" your acting and what did your mother think about her daughter's role?
My mother did not directly train me in acting, but I learned from her the most familiar things in daily life. I observed and put my mother's image into the role in the most natural and youthful way. When the film was broadcast, my mother gave many compliments to her daughter and I was happy about this.

Putting pressure on yourself
- Many actors get noticed after just one film like Ngoc Huyen. However, this unintentionally puts pressure on them in the next film. Are you afraid that the role of Ninh will be 'loose' because making a big impression will cause you trouble?
Ninh 'loe' is a highlight that helps me shine, but there are still many good characters that have been, are being, and have not been exploited. There are still many good scripts ahead. If I do well this time, I will do better next time, so I hope that when I receive another role in the future, the audience will be the most impartial judge of whether I can surpass Ninh 'loe' or not.
- The development of social networks makes an actor quickly famous, but along with that comes scrutiny of private life, excessive comments and unpredictable changes in public opinion. Today, you can be praised to the sky but tomorrow because of a bad scene, you can be mercilessly criticized, how does Ha prepare mentally to accept that?
I always face everything with the most positive attitude, whether it is praise or criticism. I observe, collect and analyze all opinions to help myself do better in the next segments.
I still occasionally respond to audience comments in my free time. As the drama is reaching its final episodes, I don’t have much free time left. I always take in and carefully analyze what the audience has to say to improve my role.
- Participating in a movie where most of the actors are more or less famous, do you feel pressured because you are a "newbie"?
There will definitely be pressure because I am very new to the cast of the film. I have to create small pressures for myself to complete the filming scenes in the best way possible without affecting the uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters who act with me. The biggest challenge when playing the role of Ninh "loe" is to act gracefully and naturally, to make the character as familiar as the people around us.
- Reveal the difficult scenes of Ha in "Father's Gift", which actor in the movie impressed you the most when acting with him?
Those are the scenes I have to film late at night or right after waking up at noon when my mind is not yet awake and I still... want to sleep.(laughs).Learning the script was the hardest part for me, while Ninh's lines were long because her characteristic was her 'flared' mouth and her talking a lot.
The actress who impressed me the most in the film was probably Mai Hue, who played Yen - Thao's schoolmate. She is one of her peers whose acting surprised and highly appreciated me. For me, playing the role of Ninh 'loe' may not be too difficult, but to play a villain as successfully as Yen certainly requires a lot of acting skills and techniques, from the eyes to facial expressions.

- Possessing a beautiful face and being loved by the audience, many people are curious to know if Ninh has a lover in real life? Is her boyfriend upset about Ha acting with a male actor? Suppose Ha has to act in a passionate love scene, what will she say to her boyfriend?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year. My ideal lover is someone knowledgeable and talented who can guide, support and help me learn more. He works in 3D design, MV editing and filming, and is also in the industry, so when I act with a male actor, he happily accepts.
There was a scene in the movie where Duy Khanh, who played Hieu, had a line that said I talked too much. My boyfriend saw it and said, "Finally, someone sympathizes with me." Every time I receive a script, I talk and read it with my boyfriend, so if there is any problem, we can discuss it together to come up with the most suitable solution.
