Trapped Thai youth soccer coach could face prosecution
The 25-year-old coach could be charged with reckless endangerment for taking the boys into the cave.

Thai authorities are considering prosecuting the boys' soccer team's coach, Ekapol Chanthawong, 25.Wild Boars charged with reckless endangerment after taking 12 boys under the age of11 to 16 entered Tham Luang cave after a training session on June 23, according toNew York Post.

The soccer team and coach are trapped in the flooded Tham Luang cave in Chiang Rai province, northern Thailand.This cave is known to be prone to flooding during the rainy season from July to November.According to the players' relatives, the coach and the team often go out together. They ride bikes up the mountain, bathe in waterfalls and explore caves.
Authorities said the group would be given intensive diving lessons to escape amid fears that heavy rains could leave the cave flooded for months. Seven divers, including a doctor and a nurse, have entered the cave to provide medical assistance to the boys and their coach.
