Beating U23 Malaysia 4-1, U23 Vietnam entered the final of the 2023 Southeast Asian U23 tournament.
Sharing after the match, coach Hoang Anh Tuan said: I am happy with this victory, with the way U23 Vietnam reached the final. Before the tournament started, I told the players the goal was to reach the final match. We have reached the final and everyone must focus on the next match.
We analyzed U23 Malaysia carefully. They were not good in 1-1, 2-2 confrontations. U23 Vietnam played offensively. Malaysia's defense was not strong enough to stop them. My students showed good form.
