Notably, standing in the goal of Nghe An U19 is the goalkeeper of Vietnam U23 team, Cao Van Binh. The defense includes outstanding players such as Nguyen Mai Hoang, Phan Van Thanh, Bui Thanh Duc, Hoang Minh Hoi. In the center of the midfield, there are two strikers born in 2006, Nguyen Trong Tuan and Pham Nguyen Quoc Trung. In the 2024 National U19 Qualifiers, Song Lam Nghe An is in Group C with U19 Hue, U19 Da Nang, U19 Quang Nam and U19 Song Tra Quang Ngai. This group will compete at Tu Do Stadium (Hue City).

According to the tournament rules, 36 teams are divided into 7 groups, including 6 groups of 5 teams and 1 group of 6 teams. The teams will compete in a round robin to select the 7 top teams and 5 second-placed teams with the best results to enter the final round. Thus, to secure a place in the next round, coach Huy Hoang and his team must win the top spot in the group. However, in the first round, Da Nang has proven its strength by defeating U19 Song Tra Quang Ngai with a score of 5-0. The two teams in the same group, Hue and Quang Nam, held each other to a 1-1 draw.

Through witnessing, I realized that in Group C of the 2024 National U19 qualifying round, there are 3 very formidable teams: Hue, Da Nang and Quang Nam. They possess quite high-quality players and have built a methodical playing style, based on the strengths of the existing players. In Group C of the 2024 National U19 qualifying round, the teams all had quite thorough preparations, so winning is not easy. However, U19 Song Lam Nghe An aims to pass the qualifying round to reach the final round of the 2024 National U19 Tournament”.

On January 9, U19 Song Lam Nghe An will enter the first match of the 2024 National U19 Championship Qualifiers to meet U19 Song Tra Quang Ngai.
