Coach Park Hang-seo's top goal in the Hung Thinh Cup international friendly tournament is to find new players, thereby renewing the team's tactics. Talking about this tournament, coach Park Hang-seo was quite satisfied: “Before the tournament, I told the press that I wanted to choose new people, new tactics, and increase cohesion. I have achieved my goals in this tournament, but I cannot say that this is the squad for the AFF Cup. All players must compete fairly and make more efforts to be able to participate in the AFF Cup taking place at the end of the year. I cannot say that the players present in today's match are the key players in the upcoming AFF Cup and I will continue to search.”

Through 2 international friendly matches, Vietnam achieved very good results when they won 4-0 against Singapore and 3-0 against India to win the championship. In the last match, Van Duc was the player who opened the score, when he successfully executed a beautiful shot to defeat goalkeeper Singh Sandhu. In the second half, Vietnam continued to establish an active game and scored 2 more goals thanks to Van Toan and Van Quyet.

Despite the good results, Coach Park Hang-seo is still quite modest and when talking about his players: "Actually, I don't think Singapore or India are weak opponents. The Vietnamese team still has some points that need to be overcome, so we can't say that because we are too strong, we won both Singapore and India without conceding a goal."

Talking about the preparation for the upcoming AFF Cup, the Vietnamese captain said: “We will have to prepare carefully for the AFF Cup 2022. Each position must have 3 people and all players must compete for the same position. I just returned from the King's Cup. Malaysia and Thailand are both excellent teams.”

Despite losing heavily to Vietnam, the Indian coach was not too disappointed. He still believes that his team lost due to bad luck.
