Huda uses new can lids to save materials, be friendly to the environment and industry

(Baonghean.vn) - Since September 2019, Huda has used CDL can lids on all of the brand's canned beer products including Huda and Huda Ice Blast.

Proud to be a beer brand of the Central region, Huda always shows its continuous efforts to improve production to bring better experiences to consumers. Since September 2019, Huda has used CDL can lids on all of its canned beer products including Huda and Huda Ice Blast. CDL lids are considered a breakthrough in can lid manufacturing technology and are increasingly being used by more and more brands as a solution to the problem of global sustainable development.

The new CDL can lid design is used for Huda's canned beer products.

Compared to previous generation can lid designs, CDL lids are lighter thanks to their advanced design, reducing 10% of raw material input while still ensuring quality factors such as durability, pressure resistance, etc. From there, the transportation process will consume less fuel. It can be said that using CDL can lids not only helps the production and transportation process operate more efficiently but also minimizes harmful impacts on the environment in the long term. A number has been calculated and given: every 900 million products using CDL lid design will save an amount of aluminum metal equivalent to the world's largest passenger aircraft Airbus A380. CDL lids are truly a great innovation in the packaging industry up to the present time.

Huda is one of the key brands of Carlsberg Group in the Vietnamese market. Carlsberg Group is known for its efforts to create positive global change with campaigns such as Snap Pack, an initiative using new generation packaging to help reduce plastic waste.
