Hung Nguyen: Providing national defense and security knowledge to 105 students

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 6, the National Defense and Security Education Council of Hung Nguyen district opened a training class on national defense and security knowledge for group 4, including 105 comrades who are People's Council delegates at the commune level.

During the 4 days, the students studied 7 topics: The Communist Party's guidelines and viewpoints, policies and laws of the Vietnamese State on national defense and security; The Communist Party's guidelines and viewpoints, policies and laws of the Vietnamese State on socio-economic development associated with national defense, security and foreign affairs activities in the new situation; The Communist Party's guidelines and viewpoints, policies and laws of the Vietnamese State on protecting political, economic, cultural and ideological security and the movement of the entire people to protect the Fatherland; The Communist Party's guidelines and viewpoints, policies and laws of the Vietnamese State on ethnicity and religion associated with national defense and security in the new situation; Preventing the strategy of "peaceful evolution" and violent overthrow by hostile forces against Vietnam; National borders and protecting national border sovereignty; Managing and protecting Vietnam's sea and island sovereignty in the new situation.

Subject 4 students attend a national defense and security training class.

Basic contents of the Laws: Law on National Defense, National Security, Law on Military Service, Law on National Defense and Security Education, Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces, Law on National Borders, Law on Vietnam Sea and Ordinance on Reserve Mobilization.

Through this national defense knowledge training course, commune-level People's Council delegates have improved their knowledge of national defense and security work, grasped the leadership mechanism of local national defense and military work, State management of national defense, the advisory role of military agencies and village-level departments, branches and organizations in performing local national defense and military tasks.
