Hung Nguyen still has a situation where officials and civil servants are late for work.
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 26, the province's interdisciplinary delegation suddenly inspected the implementation of administrative discipline at a number of departments, branches, sectors and localities.
The provincial interdisciplinary delegation was divided into 3 groups to inspect the implementation of administrative discipline. Accordingly, the working group led by Comrade Dau Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs directly inspected Hung Dung Ward, Quan Bau Ward, Hung Loc Commune, Vinh City and the Department of Justice, Provincial Forest Protection Department.

The working delegation led by comrade Le Dinh Ly - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs directly inspected the Department of Health, the Department of Population and Family Planning, and the People's Committee of Vinh City.

Through surprise inspections at the above units, it was found that the staff of civil servants complied well with the requirements of Directive 26 of the Prime Minister and Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on administrative discipline in state agencies.

Most of the specialized departments, communes and wards are inspected for compliance with working hours, wearing of civil servant badges, and ensuring staff numbers during working hours.
In addition, the inspection showed that some units have not strictly complied with regulations on office culture. Specifically, some units of the Population Department do not have nameplates, and some officials of the City People's Committee have not complied with wearing civil servant badges.
In Hung Dong commune, there is no specific work schedule; the content of the office culture regulations has not been revised or supplemented as required in Directive 26 and Directive 17; the annual work program and monthly work program have not been developed.

On the same afternoon, the inspection team inspected the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district, Hung Nguyen town and Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district. According to the inspection team, there were cases of officials and civil servants of the district People's Committee arriving late for work. Notably, at the time of the inspection at 2:30 p.m., only 3/8 civil servants of the Economic - Infrastructure Department were present in the office.
In Hung Nguyen town, checking compliance with working hours at 2:15 p.m., 5 officials and civil servants were late (40 minutes); most officials and civil servants did not strictly comply with wearing civil servant badges when performing their duties.

The working group directly reminded the units of the limitations and requested timely correction and improvement of discipline, administrative discipline and office culture.
Director of the Department of Home Affairs Dau Van Thanh said: Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on strengthening administrative discipline, agencies and units need to improve public ethics, avoid the idea that "January is the month of partying", so that Tet and spring travel affect work efficiency.

Therefore, right from the first days of the new year of Mau Tuat 2018, the provincial interdisciplinary delegation conducted surprise inspections of the compliance with administrative discipline at agencies and units. This inspection is maintained regularly to contribute to rectifying the compliance with administrative discipline of cadres and civil servants in performing their duties.
“Along with the inspection of administrative discipline, the interdisciplinary delegations will strengthen the inspection of the time and quality of work of officials and civil servants. Thereby creating changes and improving the quality of service of officials and civil servants to the people and businesses” - Director of the Department of Home Affairs Dau Van Thanh affirmed.
