In recent years, the recruitment work in Hung Nguyen district has always received serious attention from the Party committee, government, and departments and organizations at all levels, and has been strictly implemented and organized in all stages.
A highlight of this activity is the dissemination of information on the Youth Law, the Military Service Law, and other relevant administrative legal documents to officials, civil servants, and all segments of the population, especially young people of military service age, to help them better understand their responsibilities, rights, and obligations in effectively implementing the Military Service Law and the task of defending the Fatherland in the new situation.
Relevant sectors have coordinated to review and assess the number and quality of young people of military service age; promptly contacted and addressed difficulties and obstacles, while also encouraging and visiting families whose children are preparing to enlist to protect the Fatherland. This has created a positive atmosphere, reassuring young people as they prepare to join the military.
Within the framework of the farewell exchange programs for new recruits, the Youth Unions of communes and towns organized cultural, artistic, sports, forums, and seminars to recall the heroic fighting traditions of previous generations; they also organized activities to visit and encourage young volunteers and presented gifts to those enlisting in the army.
In 2015, Hung Nguyen district had 120 young men selected for military service, with 100% of them volunteering to serve in the military, including 9 young men with university or college degrees.
