The Lam River Eco-tourism Road, passing through Hung Linh Commune, Hung Nguyen District, is about 2 km long, but there are dozens of piles of garbage that have been brought by local people right on the edge of the road, adjacent to the Lam River dike.

Many people in Hung Linh commune said: "In the past few years, Hung Linh commune has implemented a waste project, families contribute money for the commune to hire an environmental sanitation company to collect garbage. But the garbage truck only comes to collect garbage twice a month, which is too little."

Also on the Lam River eco-tourism route through the communes of Hung Phu, Hung Lam, Hung Chau, Hung Loi, people are throwing garbage on the roadside and on the dike. When it rains, garbage spills onto the road, causing environmental pollution; on sunny days, when the wind blows strongly, plastic bags and leaves and light garbage fly everywhere, affecting both road users and nearby households.

Nguyen Van Troi Street section through Hung Yen Nam is also experiencing a situation where people are dumping garbage on the side of the road. National Highway 6 section through the stadium near Le Hong Phong Cultural House also has an spontaneous garbage dump causing environmental pollution. This situation is also happening on Highway 558 section through Hung Thinh Commune.

The cause of waste pollution on the roads and rural markets is due to the low frequency of waste collection and transportation for treatment. Household waste is not collected and transported in a timely manner, so every day people bring it to the roads.
