Hung Nguyen organizes the festival of Hoang Muoi Temple

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 1, 2014, the 10th day of the 10th lunar month, in Hung Thinh commune, Hung Nguyen district, the Hoang Muoi temple festival was held. Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo, Vinh City, along with party leaders, Hung Nguyen district government and many tourists from all over the country attended the ceremony.

The temple of Mr. Hoang Muoi, also known as Mo Hac Linh Tu, worships the Mother and Child religion, in which the main deity worshiped is Mr. Hoang Muoi - a man who is talented in sports, good at literature and often gives fortune to everyone. This year, the festival of Mr. Hoang Muoi temple is organized by Hung Nguyen from November 29 to December 1.

Before the grand ceremony, there were cultural and artistic activities, sports, releasing flower lanterns on the Moc River and the opening ceremony, carrying the royal decree from the Nguyen family temple in Xuan Am village to the temple and the announcement ceremony. The grand ceremony and thanksgiving ceremony were held on the exact anniversary day (10/10 lunar calendar) in a solemn and majestic manner, imbued with the spiritual and cultural beauty of traditional national customs. The festival of Ong Hoang Muoi temple is an opportunity for pilgrims to express their gratitude to the gods who have fought against foreign invaders to protect the country.
