At the training session, trainees were instructed by technical staff of the Southern Seed Company on the process of growing sprouts at home, such as: How to choose seeds, techniques for planting, caring for, preserving and processing sprouts, thereby helping people grasp basic knowledge to apply in practical production.
Sprouts are grown with common seeds such as: radish, green mustard, sweet cabbage, water spinach, onion, green beans... Sprouts are grown using only agricultural by-products such as: sand, sawdust, coconut fiber, rice husk ash, absolutely no fertilizers, growth stimulants, pesticides and other chemicals. From sowing to harvest is only within 5 - 7 days.
Growing sprouts is opening up a new direction in clean vegetable production, overcoming environmental pollution.
