On average, around 1000 tourists visit the flower field each day. At times, the line of tourist vehicles stretches for kilometers, and security workers from TH Milk Company have to work tirelessly 24/7 to assist and guide tourists while also protecting the flower field.

The magical allure of sunflowers has also helped many tourists learn about Nghia Dan and its famous specialties such as sugarcane molasses and Vinh oranges. Mr. Nguyen Van Duy, a tourist from Thanh Hoa, shared that when people hear about the sunflower fields, they think of just taking pictures and leaving, but unexpectedly, Nghia Dan has many other interesting things to offer. “What I liked most was being able to immerse myself in the orange groves after taking pictures of the flowers and picking the fruit. The oranges were delicious and fresh, living up to the long-standing reputation of Vinh oranges.” Mr. Duy's sentiment reflects the feelings of many others who visit Nghia Dan. Leaving, besides photos of sunflowers, tourists often carry bags full of local specialties such as Vinh oranges, guavas, pears, and sugarcane molasses.

Besides visiting orange orchards, many tourists also seek out the traditional sugarcane syrup pressing and rock sugar making villages in Gang village, Nghia Hung commune, to have interesting experiences with a traditional craft. They can observe the sugarcane syrup making process, try their hand at squeezing the syrup with a "candy press," and enjoy the sweet, fragrant malt candies made from sugarcane grown on the red basalt soil.

The traditional sugarcane molasses village is also a popular destination for tourists after flower viewing.

The enjoyable experiences of tourists in the sunflower fields, orange farms, or sugarcane villages have created an exciting new direction for tourism in Nghia Dan. The sunflower fields are no longer simply a source of feed for dairy cows; they are now providing Nghia Dan with an opportunity to promote the image of its homeland.

In the near future, the sunflower season in Nghia Dan will surely rival the buckwheat flower season in Ha Giang or the wild sunflower season in Da Lat, contributing to the beauty of western Nghe An province and enhancing the tourist landscape of Nghia Dan in particular and Nghe An in general.
