Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai said that the art performances by Vietnamese artists in the “Fragrance and Beauty of Vietnam” performance program at the opening ceremony were an opportunity for Thai audiences and international friends living and working in Thailand to better understand the country, people and rich, unique culture of Vietnam.

While the cultural exhibition “Colors of Vietnam” brings rich images of the country and people of Vietnam, helping viewers understand and love the beauty of the people and life of Vietnam in all regions of the country with a love of work, a will to rise up, and an optimistic spirit, “Vietnamese Cultural Days in Thailand” creates opportunities to enhance cultural and artistic exchanges between the two countries. At the same time, it marks a new step forward in cooperation between the two countries with many projects and joint plans of the ASEAN Community being implemented.

These special programs not only contribute to strengthening the close relationship between the people of Vietnam and Thailand, but also consolidate the cooperation and cultural and artistic exchange between the two countries, thereby contributing to the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership and actively building an increasingly strong ASEAN Community.

During the “Vietnamese Cultural Days in Thailand”, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of Thailand and Nakhon Phanom province - where a large Vietnamese community lives and works - organized an art performance program imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity and very close to the local people.
