Le Quyen and Huong Tram duet "Real Dream":
Le Quyen - Huong Tram caused a stir with their duet "Real Dream" |
Le Quyen organized a music night to celebrate her new age on the evening of April 2, with the participation of many famous artists such as Huong Tram, Quang Le, Quang Linh... and hundreds of audiences at a tea room in Ho Chi Minh City. |
During the party, Le Quyen performed more than 30 songs at the request of the audience present. She said she was very surprised and happy with the affection of her colleagues and fans because even though it was the beginning of the week, hundreds of people were still present and stayed until after 1am with the female singer. |
The singer of "Midnight Rain" has performed duets with many singers such as Quoc Thien, Quang Le, Manh Dong, Quang Linh... Notably, Le Quyen also sang in harmony with her junior Huong Tram with her first hit - "Real Dream". |
Before the duet, Huong Tram emotionally shared about her older sister whom she admired and idolized for a long time. She said that when she had just won the Voice of Vietnam, although she was still a new singer, during a performance on stage with Le Quyen in the US, the female singer was introduced by her senior as a talented young singer who would be even more successful in the future. This made Huong Tram very grateful to Le Quyen. |
“Although at that time I had many mistakes and we had not interacted much, she stood up to introduce me like that. At that time, it was like a protective screen for me, I was truly grateful. Until now, I feel lucky because I was on the right track so that her words are still very valuable,” the singer of “Em gai mua” emotionally said. |
Le Quyen said that she and her predecessors such as Quang Linh and Dam Vinh Hung have high hopes that the younger generation will have enough talent and passion to continue to contribute to the audience, and the female singer has full faith in Huong Tram to do this. |
Answering the question: "Is Le Quyen afraid that one day the younger generations like Huong Tram will usurp her throne?", she said: "If that happens now or in the near future, that would be a good thing. But I'll be honest, in art, no one can usurp anyone else's throne. If the audience loves Le Quyen, they will forever love Le Quyen, if not more, they will love Huong Tram more. If anyone is worthy, anyone has enough talent, then obviously that person will be loved and famous." |
After performing the songs, at exactly 12 o'clock, Le Quyen blew out the candles to celebrate her new age. Also on her birthday, Le Quyen added that she will collect all the money she has saved over the years to hold a Qshow to celebrate her 20th year of singing in October this year in both Saigon and Hanoi, as well as many states in the US. |
