Smoking after filling up with gasoline, young man burned by fire
About 5 meters away from the gas station, a young man's body was engulfed in flames while lighting a cigarette.
On the morning of September 4, a 22-year-old man got gasoline on his pants while filling up at a gas station in Hoa Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai). After paying, he went outside to light a cigarette, and suddenly fire broke out all over his body.

Gas station employees and residents used fire extinguishers to put out the fire and took the victim to the emergency room. "He had just left the gas station about 5 meters when the fire broke out all over his body and car. After putting out the fire, the victim was quite conscious," said a witness.
The hospital said the victim suffered burns to about 70% of his body, degree 2-3. After first aid, the young man was transferred to Ho Chi Minh City for further treatment.
The incident is being clarified by the authorities.
