On the morning of June 16, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, continued to chair a meeting with search forces. The general spirit was to continue mobilizing all forces, expanding the search area from the Pacific Ocean to Da Nang with the goal of quickly finding Lieutenant Colonel pilot Tran Quang Khai.
