At the same time, the conveyor system connecting to the seaport was also broken. The wharf, which is more than 2 kilometers long and extends out to sea, had to be postponed for nearly 2 months. In the long term, the port will be upgraded to an international port for the entire North Central region. The Nghi Thiet Deepwater Port Project is considered an important project that not only creates a "push" for the development of Nghe An province and the North Central provinces but also promotes economic exchange with the Northeast regions of Thailand and Central Laos. |
