Nghi Loc District Youth Union: Receiving the emulation flag of the Provincial People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 9, Nghi Loc District Youth Union held a mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the Youth Union Congresses at all levels for the 2012-2017 term and received the emulation flag of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.

The work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in Nghi Loc district in the last half of the term continued to be maintained and developed. The rate of youth gathering increased compared to the beginning of the term, the number of union members and young party members each year was higher than the previous year. From 2012 to now, nearly 700 new party members have been admitted. The advisory and direction work of the Youth Union has been constantly innovated.

The District Youth Union has implemented many youth projects to join hands in building new rural areas such as "installing 300 electric bulbs to light up rural roads in disadvantaged hamlets", supporting 200 working days to build volleyball courts... At the same time, the organization gave gifts to poor households, policy families and students in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 800 million VND.

The activities of the Youth Union, Association and Young Pioneers have closely followed the political tasks of the locality and unit, having a strong impact on the tasks of socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, Party building and the political system of the district.

Also at the conference, Nghi Loc District Youth Union received the emulation flag from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for excellently completing all tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement in 2014./.
