Nghi Loc District Youth Union: Receiving the emulation flag from the Provincial People's Committee.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 9th, the Nghi Loc District Youth Union held a mid-term review meeting on the implementation of the resolutions of the Youth Union congresses at all levels for the 2012-2017 term and received the emulation flag from the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

Youth union work and youth movements in Nghi Loc district have continued to be maintained and have made progress over the past half-term. The rate of youth mobilization has increased compared to the beginning of the term, and the number of young union members and party members has been higher each year. From 2012 to the present, nearly 700 new party members have been admitted. The advisory and leadership work of the Youth Union has been constantly improved.

The District Youth Union has implemented many youth projects to contribute to building new rural areas, such as "installing 300 streetlights in disadvantaged hamlets," and donating 200 man-days to build a volleyball court. At the same time, they organized gift-giving to poor households, families with preferential policies, and students in difficult circumstances, with a total value of nearly 800 million VND.

The activities of the Youth Union, Youth Association, and Children's Union have closely followed the political tasks of the locality and unit, having a strong impact on the tasks of socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, and building the Party and political system of the district.

Also at the conference, the Nghi Loc District Youth Union received the emulation flag from the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for having excellently and comprehensively fulfilled its tasks and leading the patriotic emulation movement in 2014.
