Hung Nguyen District received the Government's Emulation Flag

Implementing the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term, Party committees and authorities from Hung Nguyen district to the grassroots level focused on leading and directing the implementation of resolutions, projects as well as socio-economic, national defense-security and Party building targets.

Thanks to that, the socio-economic development continued to develop quite comprehensively with 24/27 targets achieved and exceeded the set plan. The economic growth rate reached 9.7%/plan 9-10% (higher than the average growth rate of the whole province and previous years).

The total production value in the area is estimated at 5,478 billion VND; of which industry - construction reached 3,365 billion VND; services reached 1,210 billion VND; agriculture - forestry - fishery reached 901 billion VND.

Average income per capita reached 42 million VND/year. Budget revenue is estimated at nearly 233 billion VND, reaching 160% of the provincial estimate, equal to 106.9% of the district People's Council estimate, equal to 150% over the same period.

The district has completed the merger of 222 old blocks and hamlets into 98 new blocks and hamlets and completed the Party cells and block and hamlet leaders.

Besides the achieved results, Hung Nguyen district still has 3 targets that have not met the set plan, including the target of average income per capita, new rural construction and building national standard schools.

Compensation and site clearance work for some projects is still slow and has problems.

Administrative reform work in some agencies and units has not met the requirements of the task. The leadership and direction capacity of party organizations in some places is still limited; in some places, the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations are violated...

During the year, the entire Hung Nguyen District Party Committee had 5 Party organizations disciplined by reprimand and 32 Party members disciplined by reprimand, warning, and dismissal.

2020 is the final year to implement the goals of the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term. Hung Nguyen Party Committee sets high determination and drastic measures in leadership and direction, striving to achieve the targets set at the beginning of the term; associated with good preparation of conditions, especially personnel issues, to ensure the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.
