(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 16th, at the headquarters of Muong Long Commune People's Committee, Ky Son District People's Committee organized a seminar on the issues of illegal migration, land disputes, traffic safety, and child marriage in Cluster 1.
The seminar was chaired by Comrade Vi Hai Thanh - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the District Party Committee, and Chairman of the District People's Council; Comrade Lau Chong Vu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; and Comrade Bui Tram - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Committee. Representatives from district-level departments and agencies, leaders of communes, and a large number of village elders and heads from Bac Ly, My Ly, Muong Long, Bao Nam, and Bao Thang communes attended the seminar.
Recently, the situation in Ky Son district has become increasingly complex, including illegal migration to Laos, land disputes, traffic safety issues, child marriage, and human trafficking. The seminar aimed to raise awareness among the local population, while also allowing district and commune leaders to listen to feedback from the community and discuss solutions to prevent these problems.

After synthesizing the opinions of commune leaders, especially village elders and heads of hamlets, on the above issues, Comrade Vi Hai Thanh approved a set of solutions to prevent and reduce illegal migration, land disputes, traffic safety, and child marriage in the area.
Accordingly, the entire political system, from the district level to the grassroots, creates conditions for economic development, improves public education, and strengthens the dissemination of policies and laws to the people; at the same time, it promotes the role of village elders and community leaders – influential figures – in disseminating information and mobilizing their relatives and family members to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's laws, contributing to stability and socio-economic development.
