Up to now, people have always defined the style of Miss and Runner-up as being associated with long, feminine hair. However, I always want to change my style to create a breakthrough in fashion because for me, fashion is an interesting game that always requires unique spices. And the recent pixie haircut is also a 'change of pace' for me, hoping to bring interesting feelings to everyone. Not only stopping at pixie hair, in the near future I will have many other interesting experiments with fashion.

- The fact that a series of beauties: Ngoc Han, Duong Thuy Linh, Thanh Tu, Huyen My, Do My Linh... simultaneously took on the roles of MCs and editors of several television programs surprised many people. For you, what is the reason for trying your hand at this field?

Since I was a beauty pageant contestant, I have realized my weaknesses in voice, communication, situational response… that is why I chose to strive to become an MC, TV editor to overcome these weaknesses. Witnessing seniors succeed in the MC field can be said to be a source of inspiration that helps me focus more on this field.

- With many beautiful and sharp anchors like BTV Ngoc Trinh and BTV Thuy Van, do you feel pressured and afraid of being overshadowed?

I have never been afraid of being outdone. Each person has their own strengths and is suitable for different programs. I think I have my own color and that is the criteria the program needs. As for the pressure from other beauties, it is only because I do not have a job, only the pressure from work makes me pay attention and try harder.

- At the same time of training to host the program, but Do My Linh was on air and did quite well. But you have not appeared yet, there is information that Do My Linh received a lot of favor from BTV Ngoc Trinh - the professional instructor for the two of you. What does Huyen My think?

My Linh going on air first is an objective reason from the station's coordination, there is no favoritism here. If Linh does well and the station sees the right time, the right program is a given.

Going on air is not as simple as many people think. It requires careful and meticulous preparation, maybe because I haven't done it well yet, or maybe because the timing hasn't come yet... But when it's on air, I'm confident that I've done my best to ensure national coverage.

Huyen My is not afraid of difficulties in her MC job.

- A beauty queen only needs to be beautiful when attending events, but a TV editor just needs to be beautiful. Did My encounter any difficulties when she started this job?

It is true that beauty is not enough, when on air there are situations that beauty cannot handle. An editor always needs to be proactive in all situations to be able to be smart and calm when handling situations. I certainly encountered many difficulties when I started this job, because when I entered this field, I found that it was not a walk in the park but required a really serious investment, meticulousness and sacrifice of many things such as time. In addition, I also had to practice my voice, pronunciation, and demeanor every day. However, I received enthusiastic guidance from my seniors.

I like a man who is sincere and has a warm heart.

Huyen My once took on the role of MC in the Miss Vietnam contest. She affirmed that she is serious and will "diligently" learn from her predecessors.

- There is information that Huyen My will pursue the path of becoming a professional actress, and will soon participate in a film project of a famous director. Is this true?

Cinema is a field that I love very much. Last year, my first film in collaboration with Myanmar was released and received positive feedback from the audience, which is also a motivation for me to pursue cinema in the future. However, like the job of BTV, cinema is a field that requires very serious investment and sacrifice, so I will have to consider carefully every time I accept a project. Regarding upcoming plans, I would like to keep it a secret and will inform the audience when there are certain results.

- Ky Duyen and Huyen My were rumored to be "not on good terms" for quite a long time. Although both of them have stated that there is no discord. Recently, at an event, the two took a photo together, but there is information that the two of them are "not on good terms". So the truth is...

The truth is that only those involved know the truth! And neither Duyen nor I feel that we have any responsibility to explain or justify this. I think that the relationship between Duyen and I does not affect anyone.

- In a recent interview you stated that you don't want to marry someone in showbiz. Is it because you have a young, rich man who is also the brother of a famous editor that you are so bold?

As shared, if both people are in showbiz, it is a bit difficult to maintain a sustainable relationship. Because I think love affairs are between two people, I don't want to announce it to too many people. When both people are in a field that everyone knows about, the public will always scrutinize every detail. The people involved will feel uncomfortable, suddenly many complications will arise. The love affair of both will no longer be as sacred as before.

- You also think that your dream is to become a successful businesswoman, so is it easy for a businessman to win Huyen My's heart?

A person who has a chance with me would be someone who is sincere, has a warm heart, thinks carefully and has the will to strive in work and life. Whether he is a businessman or not is not important! (laughs)

- Runner-up Tu Anh got married a few months ago and is now a mother. Huyen My once caused a stir with her wedding dress, which spread all over the internet. When will you get married?
