Huyen My quietly flew back to Hanoi after the Miss Grand International final.

Yesterday evening (October 26), Huyen My took a flight back to Hanoi with her family after more than half a month participating in Miss Grand International 2017. Although she only stopped at the top 10, the runner-up received many compliments from the public for her good performance in the final night.

Huyen My herself could not hide her sadness at falling out of the top 5. She apologized to the public for not achieving the results everyone expected. Before that, she was highly appreciated by many international beauty sites and had the potential to win the runner-up position.

The runner-up is also receiving many negative comments because two judges, Giang My and designer Sy Hoang, frankly said that she did not behave well in the final night. Instead of congratulating the new Miss Peru, she burst into tears in the arms of her family. In response to these comments, the runner-up remained silent.

The online community recently 'vindicated' Huyen My when sharing some of the coronation moments of the new Miss Grand International 2017. Many people discovered that Huyen My was standing very close to the Peruvian beauty but could not get close because there were too many contestants surrounding her.

When asked about not congratulating Miss Peru on stage, the beauty said that due to objective conditions, she was unable to do so. After the final night, she chose to go to the private room of the new Miss Grand International 2017 to share the joy.

She also said goodbye to the other international contestants and promised to travel together when she has time.
