Huyen My slipped out of Top 16 "Most beautiful Miss World 2017"
The Vietnamese representative dominated the audience's votes but did not win over the Kenyan model in the judges' evaluation.
June 21, beauty pageGlobal Beautiesannounced the list of Top 16 of the Miss Grand Slam 2017 election. Huyen My did not win over her opponent Magline Jeruto, despite having a higher number of audience votes. The Vietnamese representative received 84% of the votes, but Magline Jeruto was given an almost perfect score by the judges.

Previously, Huyen My was the only representative of Vietnam in the Top 32 of Miss Grand Slam. According to the voting rules, the contestants of the Top 32 were divided into pairs, competing directly based on two criteria - audience votes and judges' scores. Huyen My's opponent was Magline Jeruto, Miss Kenya and a Top 5 Miss World 2017.
