(Baonghean.vn) - On August 1, the Steering Committee for New Rural Construction of Nghia Dan district assessed the implementation of the new rural construction task in the first 7 months of the year and deployed tasks for the coming time.

Up to now, in the district, there are 6 communes that have met 19/19 criteria, including Nghia Hieu, Nghia Long, Nghia Khanh, Nghia Binh, Nghia Hong, Nghia Minh. 4 communes have met 16-17 criteria; 7 communes have met 10-14 criteria; 7 communes have met 5-9 criteria. Of the 6 communes that registered to meet the NTM standards in 2016, Nghia Minh commune has met 19/19 criteria. On average, each commune in the district has met 12.71 criteria.

Nghia Dan people agreed to clear the land and contribute to rural traffic construction.

Regarding the results of implementing the policy of supporting cement for rural roads of the Provincial People's Committee, from March 2015 to June 2016, Nghia Dan district received 16,502 tons of cement; built 75km of rural roads... At the meeting, the District Steering Committee pointed out some problems that need to be overcome as well as analyzed the difficulties to resolve them together, especially prioritizing all resources to build new rural areas, soon completing the targets on rural roads on schedule, building cultural institutions, environmental issues, schools...
