The legendary "chat" Yahoo Messenger will officially stop working.
According to information from Yahoo's homepage, the Yahoo Messenger messaging application will officially stop working from July 17, 2018.
Specifically, users will no longer be able to use Yahoo Messenger on computers, iOS, Android and many other platforms. According to Yahoo, from now until July 17, Yahoo Messenger will still be usable normally. After July 17, users will no longer be able to access their conversations and the service will no longer work.
Yahoo Messenger is an Internet messaging service provided by Yahoo. Since its first release on March 9, 2018, Yahoo Messenger has been in operation for a total of 20 years. This is also the most popular messaging tool at the time when the Internet started to explode in Vietnam.

“We know we have many loyal fans who have used Yahoo Messenger since the early days. However, as the communications landscape changes, we will have to continue to build and launch new communication tools that are more interesting and more relevant to the needs of users,” Yahoo shared on its homepage.
Yahoo also said that it does not currently have any products available to replace Yahoo Messenger. However, Yahoo is developing new services. One of them is Yahoo Squirrel. This application is only in the testing phase. Users can try Yahoo Squirrel at squirrel.yahoo.com.

In a statement posted on its homepage, Yahoo also said that users will have 6 months to back up (store) data on Yahoo Messenger.
Yahoo also informed that Yahoo ID accounts will still work normally and can be used for other Yahoo products such as Yahoo Mail Yahoo Fantasy... After July 17, 2018, users will no longer be able to log in to Yahoo Messenger. Therefore, Yahoo also recommends that users uninstall the application after downloading their chat history.
