Thuong Xuan District (Thanh Hoa) supports families affected by tornadoes

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 13, a working delegation from Thuong Xuan district (Thanh Hoa) visited and presented gifts to families affected by tornadoes in Tien Phong commune (Que Phong).

Previously, on May 3 and 4, heavy rains and whirlwinds occurred in Que Phong district, causing the collapse and roofs of many households. Tien Phong commune alone suffered the most damage, with 3 houses completely collapsed, more than 100 houses had their roofs blown off and were severely damaged, and many areas of crops and trees were broken.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Thuong Xuan district shared the difficulties with the authorities and people of Que Phong district and supported 3 households of Tien Phong commune whose houses collapsed due to the tornado, each household with 15 million VND.

This is a meaningful activity to strengthen the relationship between the two districts of Thuong Xuan (Thanh Hoa), supporting each other to complete political tasks./.
