Anh Son District Party Committee: Meeting of Party Secretaries of communes and towns.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of August 23, the Standing Committee of the Anh Son District Party Committee held a meeting with the secretaries of the communes and towns to review the implementation of tasks during the month, assess the situation at the grassroots level, and set directions for tasks in September.

This is a political activity that the Anh Son District Party Committee has included in its regular monthly meetings. Through three such meetings, the information shared has helped the district Party committee leaders gain a thorough understanding of the situation at the grassroots level, enabling them to promptly address any problems at the local level. In the agricultural sector, Anh Son district has reviewed and developed a production plan for the 2013 winter crop and is focusing on caring for crops during the summer-autumn season.

Mr. Son is also promoting the construction of new rural areas by accelerating the progress of rural road construction with a mechanism where the state supports cement, while the locality and people ensure the supply of sand, gravel, and labor. To date, the district has allocated 8,315 tons of cement to 18 communes to build 45.7 km of roads. Regarding Party building work, the district has organized the dissemination, study, and implementation of Resolution No. 7 of the Central Committee (11th term) for key officials at the district and grassroots levels. The district has completed the confidence vote for positions elected by the District People's Council and directed the confidence vote for positions elected by the People's Councils of communes and towns.

As a result, at the district level, 9 out of 11 comrades received over 50% of the council's votes of confidence. At the commune/town level, 75 out of 115 comrades received over 50% of the council's votes of confidence, with only 1 comrade receiving less than 50% of the votes of confidence. In September, Anh Son identified its key tasks as directing the organization of studying and understanding Resolution No. 7 of the Central Committee (11th term) among Party members and the people; and promoting the development of agriculture, building new rural areas, and basic construction in the area.
