Rare case: Couple so obese they can't have sex.

According to Central European News, Lin Yue and Deng Yang weigh nearly 400 kg combined. After five years of marriage, the couple, both in their 30s, are still unable to be intimate due to their excessive weight.

But after China's heaviest person – a 224kg woman nicknamed Qian Qian – announced she had undergone gastric surgery earlier this month, the couple decided to follow suit.

This couple had always hoped to have a baby and saw gastric bypass surgery as an opportunity to make their dream of becoming parents a reality.

Last week, the two traveled to Changchun, the capital of Jilin province, to begin their fitness training plan before undergoing surgery.

Both hope to soon become husband and wife in the truest sense and have a complete family filled with the laughter of children.
