At 12:05 on September 23, Nghe An General Hospital 115 welcomed a very rare birth. The pregnant woman Nguyen Ngoc Ly (28 years old, living in Hamlet 12, Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City) arrived at the hospital with the fetus already born.

The taxi had just arrived at the hospital lobby when Mr. Hoang Dinh Thong (Ms. Ly's husband) was holding his newborn daughter, the placenta still wrapped around her neck.

Immediately, the doctors and midwives of the hospital arrived in time to assist him in the delivery of a safe and sound mother and child. After the umbilical cord was clamped, the baby girl was taken to the delivery room to be warmed, vaccinated, cleaned, etc. The mother, Nguyen Ngoc Ly, was also given first aid, delivered, and cared for.

Happy and excited but still shaking, Mr. Hoang Dinh Thong shared: This morning, Ms. Ly still went to work and didn't come home until almost noon. She complained of stomach pain, but because it wasn't her due date yet, she didn't think it was labor pain.

“My wife complained of pain, but I thought it would be a long time before she gave birth, so I encouraged her to eat and go to the hospital for a check-up. When she was in more pain, and the taxi had not yet arrived at the hospital, I told her to try harder, but she couldn't, so I had to let her lie down and catch the baby, because the baby's head had already come out.
