The Romanian tennis player entered the confrontation with Serena Williams in the 2019 Wimbledon final on the evening of July 13. In her career, Halep has only had one win against an opponent who has won 23 Grand Slam titles. Therefore, she is considered the underdog compared to the American tennis player. However, in her first Wimbledon final, Halep showed greater motivation than her opponent.
Defeating Serena after two sets with the same score of 6-2, the Romanian beauty won the second Grand Slam title of her career, after the first at Roland Garros last year. This is also the 18th WTA title of this 27-year-old tennis player.
Throughout her career, Halep has had many hardships and sufferings in training and competition because of her oversized bust. In 2009, she made one of the biggest decisions of her life: breast reduction surgery. From having to wear a 34DD bra, Halep now only has to wear a 34C.

Halep has improved significantly, with no back pain and no difficulty moving. Her strengths are her powerful forehand and her good defense. Halep has shown this very well throughout her Wimbledon campaign. After undergoing breast surgery, the Romanian star has risen strongly in the rankings, from 300th to her current position of No. 4 in the WTA rankings.
