Hyundai Grand i10 upgraded version priced from 6,700 USD
The 2017 compact hatchback gets a slight design change, a new diesel engine option and is expected to launch in the Indian market in February.
With monthly sales of 10,000 units, the Grand i10 has been one of the best-selling models in its segment since its launch in India in 2013. The facelifted version was revealed by Hyundai in August 2016 and showcased at the Paris Motor Show that year. Now, the hatchback is waiting at dealerships in India ahead of its launch in the country.

The facelifted version that has appeared in dealerships is the Sportz version and shares the same features as the European i10 launched in Paris. It has a tiered grille and boomerang-shaped fog lamp housings. The rear bumper has been redesigned with circular reflectors.
The 2017 Grand i10 still uses a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine version has a new 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine, expected to have more power and be more economical than the current 1.1 diesel version.

The top-end version of the upgraded Grand i10 can be equipped with an information system with a 7-inch touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, in addition to automatic climate control and a rear camera. The small hatchback is also said to use a new set of alloy wheels.
Hyundai Grand i10 2017 is expected to launch in India in February, priced from about 6,700-11,100 USD and main competitors include Maruti Suzuki Swift and Ford Figo.

In Vietnam, the Grand i10 accounted for half of the Korean carmaker’s 2016 sales, with about 18,000 cars sold. The hatchback imported from India is on par with, or even better than, the Vios, the best-selling car model according to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA). The Grand i10’s main competitor in Vietnam is the Kia Morning./.
