Hyundai Kona electric 500 km per full charge
The Korean automaker continues to launch an all-electric model based on the new Kona. This electric car is capable of traveling 500 km after each full charge.
The appearance of the electric Hyundai Kona is not much different from the gasoline version, but it has been refined with the typical shape of an electric car. Specifically, the closed grille has been replaced, the alloy wheels are new and the style is somewhat gentler.

Inside, the car's gear lever has disappeared, replaced by an electric gear lever using a button system to save space in the cabin. It comes with a series of attractive technologies including features such as intelligent cruise control, forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning, rear collision warning, driver inattention warning, speed limit warning along with HUD display technology and wireless charging.
In addition, the car's interior also feels significantly more spacious thanks to the 20 mm increase in height compared to the standard version. The cargo compartment volume is 332 liters, up to 373 liters without the charging cable.

Launching 2 standard and premium versions, Hyundai Kona provides a fuel-free mobility solution for the future. Specifically, the standard Kona is equipped with a 39.2 kWh battery with a maximum operating range of 300 km on a single charge, 133 horsepower, 395 Nm torque, a maximum speed of 167 km/h and the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9.3 seconds.
Meanwhile, the premium version will use a 64 kWh battery pack for a maximum operating range of 470 km on a single charge, with a capacity of 201 horsepower, torque of 395 Nm, a maximum speed of 167 km/h and the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.

Using a 100 kW CCS fast charger, the lithium-ion battery can be charged to 80% in about 54 minutes. Meanwhile, the full charging time using a regular charger is 9 hours 40 minutes for the 64 kWh battery version and 6 hours 10 minutes for the 39.2 kWh battery version. Users can also charge the car at home using an ICCB charging cable.
At launch, the Hyundai KONA Electric will be the first pure electric SUV for the European market. Hyundai currently has plans to distribute it in this market./.
