Hyundai wants to add some fun to its eco-friendly Ioniq range by offering an electric scooter.

The Ioniq Scooter features a compact and foldable design for convenient portability. |
The Korean automaker says users can fold the scooter with just one hand and fit it in the front door of the Ioniq to charge it.
The scooter has both front and rear lights, and a sensor to determine if someone is on the scooter before activating the scooter's running mode. To accelerate, the rider simply uses his thumb to turn the control knob on the handlebar up; and to brake, he can use his foot to step on the rear wheel, or use his thumb to turn the knob down.
Currently, the Ioniq Scooter is just a display product, introducing ideas to attract the attention of visitors to the company's booth at the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2017, but there is no specific production plan yet.
