Hyundai is about to have a new generation Accent sedan to compete with Toyota Vios

The new generation of Hyundai Accent will be launched on February 16, 2017 in Canada, with the aim of competing with strong rivals in the B-class sedan segment.

At the Canadian Auto Show on February 16, 2017, Hyundai will officially launch the new generation of the Hyundai Accent compact B-class sedan. Currently, the Korean car company has released the first video revealing the car.

From Hyundai's video, it can be seen that the Accent will have a completely different design compared to the current generation, with many design features quite similar to its "senior" Elantra such as the LED taillights. The car's front headlights are also LED, while the car will use a new hexagonal grille similar to the company's recent models.

Details about the next-generation Accent are still being kept under wraps, but it is certain that the current model's naturally aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 137 horsepower will still be available on the new generation. This engine is still combined with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
