The main reason given by Myung Seok was because he saw Cong Phuong was too small and what he witnessed during Incheon United's training session on March 28.
The Korean newspaper pointed out that Cong Phuong is even more difficult than Xuan Truong, because he plays in the attack line and has to compete with the opponent's tall defenders. And they also added that Coach Andersen has to be cautious with Cong Phuong because K-League is too different from V-League - the tournament in Vietnam.
Kim Myung Seok described watching Cong Phuong practice with Incheon United as reminding him of a battle: because of his small and weak physique, there was no way he could cope... And not to mention, when he actually entered the field, the difficulties were much greater...
At 2:00 p.m. this Sunday (March 31), Cong Phuong and Incheon United will meet Suwon in round 4 of the K-League.
Previously, in round 3 of K-League, Cong Phuong played 28 minutes in the match between Incheon and Sangju and although he could not help his team escape defeat, he still received praise.
