Malaysia's new 92-year-old prime minister has vowed not to compromise with former prime minister Najib Razak, who faces corruption charges and risks jail.

Malaysia's new prime minister has said there will be no deal to allow former prime minister Najib Razak to use money to cover up losses of up to $3 billion from the 1MDB government investment fund.

The move means former Prime Minister Najib could face criminal charges and jail if convicted.

North Korea invites South Korean reporters to witness dismantling of nuclear test site

On May 15, the South Korean Unification Ministry said North Korea had invited eight reporters from a South Korean news agency and a television station to witness the dismantling of the Punungye-ri nuclear test site, scheduled to take place from May 23-25, where North Korea had conducted six previous nuclear tests.

Each of the above South Korean media outlets will send four reporters to attend the event. The invited reporters will receive visas at the North Korean embassy in Beijing and board a flight from Beijing to Kalma Airport in Wonsan, North Korea, on May 22, along with other foreign reporters. Australia investigates allegations that Google collects user data
